Product Description

Product Capacity

  •  Standard capacity: 12 m³/h (12,000 L/h)
  •  Daily production: Up to 288 m³/day
  •  Available range: 5–50 m³/h
  •  Operation: Automatic continuous operation

Not sure which capacity you need? Read our guide on how to size an industrial RO system.

Suitable Raw Water

The system can treat borehole or well water containing:

  •  Sand and suspended solids
  •  High turbidity
  •  Iron and manganese
  •  Hardness and scale-forming minerals
  •  High TDS and dissolved salts
  •  Odor, color and microorganisms
  •  Nitrate, fluoride and other dissolved contaminants

Because groundwater quality varies by location, the final system must be designed using an actual water analysis. Learn more about how feedwater quality affects RO performance.

Product-Water Quality

Depending on the configuration, the system can produce water suitable for:

  •  Industrial process water
  •  Boiler and cooling-system feedwater
  •  Bottled-water production
  •  Commercial and community water supply
  •  Drinking water after suitable disinfection and post-treatment

When reverse osmosis is included, the typical salt rejection rate is 97%–99%. Final water quality depends on the raw water and system design.

Typical Process Flow

Borehole Water → Raw Water Tank → Feed Pump → Multimedia Filter → Activated Carbon Filter → Softener/Antiscalant Dosing → 5 μm Cartridge Filter → High-Pressure Pump → RO System → UV Sterilizer → Product-Water Tank

For water with high turbidity or unstable quality, ultrafiltration can be added before the RO system.

Optional Configurations

  •   Iron and manganese removal filter
  •   Water softener
  •   Ultrafiltration pretreatment
  •   Single-pass or double-pass RO
  •   UV or ozone disinfection
  •   Remineralization system
  •   CIP membrane-cleaning system
  •   PLC touchscreen control
  •   Online TDS, conductivity and pH monitoring
  •   Skid-mounted or containerized design
  •   Customized pump, membrane and electrical brands

Frequently Asked Questions

Is RO always required for borehole water?

No. RO is mainly required when the water contains high TDS, nitrate, fluoride or other dissolved contaminants. Filtration may be sufficient for sediment, iron or turbidity problems.

Can the treated water be used for drinking?

Yes. The system can be designed for drinking-water applications with suitable RO treatment, disinfection and post-treatment.

Can the equipment operate 24 hours a day?

Yes. The system supports continuous operation when sufficient raw-water and product-water storage is provided.

How long do RO membranes last?

Industrial RO membranes commonly last several years when pretreatment and maintenance are properly managed. Read our industrial RO membrane lifespan guide.

Can the system be customized?

Yes. Capacity, voltage, materials, component brands, automation and installation type can all be customized.
