Project Overview

Zhongnuo supplied a 5T/H brackish groundwater RO plant for a workers’ camp in the UAE. The camp relied on local borehole water for washing, cleaning and other daily uses.

High TDS and hardness caused a salty taste and serious scaling in pipelines, water heaters and sanitary facilities. Transporting freshwater to the remote camp also created high operating costs.

We designed a fully automatic BWRO system with pretreatment and UV sterilization to provide stable on-site water purification.

The customer required a reliable 5000L/H brackish water desalination system for a UAE workers’ camp with simple operation and low maintenance.

 

Treatment Process

Brackish Groundwater → Raw Water Tank → Feed Pump → Multimedia Filter → Activated Carbon Filter → Softener/Antiscalant Dosing → Cartridge Filter → High-Pressure Pump → BWRO System → UV Sterilizer → Product Water Tank

A water softener or antiscalant dosing system is selected according to the feed-water hardness, silica content and designed recovery rate.
