1. Project Overview
This project adopts a 250L/H mobile containerized RO water treatment system to solve rural drinking water shortage in Madagascar. Local residents rely on unstable shallow well water, which features high seasonal turbidity, organic odor and unqualified water quality.
Due to scattered rural settlements and high costs of fixed water plants, Zhongnuo provided an integrated, movable, plug-and-play container RO solution with pretreatment, reverse osmosis and UV disinfection, realizing stable long-term safe domestic water supply for remote communities.

3. Customer Challenges
•Unstable shallow well water quality with seasonal turbidity spikes and organic odor
•Scattered rural households, unable to support fixed centralized water plant construction
•Lack of local water treatment infrastructure and professional operation personnel
•Demand for low-cost, fast-deployment and easy-maintenance water purification solution
4. Customized Water Treatment Solution
According to the local shallow well water quality characteristics, we designed a compact all-in-one container RO system. Multi-stage pretreatment effectively intercepts suspended solids and prevents membrane fouling. The RO core removes dissolved salts and impurities, and terminal UV sterilization ensures microbiologically safe drinking water.
5. Standard Process Flow
Shallow Well Water → Feed Pump → Multimedia Filter → Activated Carbon Filter → Antiscalant Dosing → 5μm Security Filter → High-Pressure Pump → RO Membrane System → UV Sterilizer → Pure Water Tank

11. FAQ
Q1: Can the system treat high-turbidity seasonal well water?
A1: Yes. We can configure enhanced pretreatment according to seasonal maximum turbidity to ensure stable operation.
Q2: Is the treated water compliant for drinking?
A2: Equipped with complete filtration and UV disinfection, the water meets daily drinking requirements. Final laboratory testing is required for official compliance.
Q3: Can the system adapt to unstable power supply?
A3: Optional diesel generator or solar power system can be customized for off-grid rural areas.
Q4: Does the equipment require complicated construction?
A4: No large construction is needed. Only flat foundation, water and electricity connection are required for startup.
Q5: Is daily maintenance difficult?
A5: Simple routine inspection, filter replacement and chemical replenishment, suitable for local untrained operators.
